Overview
World Wildlife Fund, the world's leading conservation organization seeks a Coordinator of Private Sector Engagement for its Washington, DC Headquarters. The Coordinator will assist the Private Sector Engagement (PSE) team in the development and management of corporate partnerships to advance WWF's conservation mission, maximize revenue and increase awareness of WWF among the US public. The Coordinator will also support the implementation of transformational business practice engagements, cause marketing campaigns, promotions, licensing, and strategic philanthropic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates calendar, schedules meetings, and processes expenses for two Directors on PSE team.
- Supports administrative staff as needed in the planning, preparation and execution of large staff meetings like the Quarterly Connect.
- Supports PSE team members through research, coordination and administrative tasks that contribute to the successful management of existing corporate partnerships and the addition of new relationships.
- Attends calls and meetings with WWF staff, stakeholders and corporate partners, summarizing key points and action items in collaboration with Supervisor. Participates in the development of key materials including PowerPoints, talking points, partnership activity summaries, web copy, grant award memos and more, related to the development and retention of new and existing corporate partners. Updates the team on industry best practices and current relevant partnerships in the marketplace.
- Fields incoming corporate requests, evaluating whether a prospective relationship aligns with the organization and meets minimum criteria via due diligence research. Discusses each qualified opportunity with Supervisor to determine next steps in developing the partnership and distributes vetted opportunities to the appropriate senior team member.
- Participates in the partnership development and management process, contributing creative marketing and communication ideas to advance corporate partnerships.
- Compiles regular updates from PSE team members on outreach to target companies, assisting Supervisor in monitoring progress against new business development goals.
- Manages select internal employee communications activities to raise awareness of corporate partnerships within the PSE team and WWF more broadly.
- Under guidance from Supervisor, tracks and monitors basic financial information and metrics for existing corporate partnerships, compiling and providing reports to PSE team members.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Requires 0-2 years experience in account management or, development marketing-related field. Agency experience a plus.
